Our Story
Founded on what it means to be given a second chance.
Founding Context
Romony survived the Khmer Rouge massacre of the 1970s and was reunited with her mother in the United States in the 1980s. Ellen Smith invested in her life significantly during this period. Decades later, international speaker Karen Robinson’s work crossed paths with Romony’s journey — and in July 2014, the two united around a shared passion for Cambodian youth. This organization was formally established in 2017.
We are a US-based 501(c)(3) which operates under the leadership of Romony Sin and a board of directors, with associates in the USA and Cambodia.
