Our Story
Born from what it means to be given a second chance.
An orphaned refugee girl who survived the Khmer Rouge regime was reunited with her mother in the United States in the 1980s.
Remembering what it felt like to be broken and unwanted, she vowed she’d never look back — but the people who invested in her left a permanent mark, and the desire to give back never left either.
Decades later, a shared passion for Cambodian youth brought two women together — and in 2017, that friendship became an organization.
